The breathtaking design and caring staff create an unforgettable experience. I adored the open air bath with stunning city views and the exceptionally delightful breakfast served in a private room.

While my overall stay was happy, the rooms could feel a bit compact for those used to larger accommodations. A bit tighter than expected for a couple's getaway!

The staff welcomed me warmly, making sure I had everything I needed. The private onsen provided a breathtaking view of Tokyo Skytree while I relaxed, creating a perfect blend of tranquility and beauty. My breakfast was a visually stunning and delicately flavored feast, leaving me satisfied yet light. I particularly loved the lovely city view I enjoyed during my stay.

The only slight drawback was the standard checkout time, which could be challenging for those needing a little more flexibility.

I had an amazing time at Cyashitsu Ryokan. The hospitality exceeded my expectations. The staff felt like family—thank you, Yuka! My traditional tatami room was small but comfortable. The rooftop open-air bath provided gorgeous views of the Sky Tree and was stunning both at night and during the day. Breakfast each morning was a delight, featuring light but flavorful dishes. However, the room did feel cramped at times, especially with luggage. The only downside was the slightly longer travel time to central Tokyo, making midday breaks tricky, but the charming atmosphere of Asakusa made it worth it. Just be mindful of your subway routes and those exits without lifts when carrying bags.

Great location and lovely staff, but the wi-fi was a bit spotty at times.

We had an amazing stay with friends! The onsen was a perfect end to our days exploring nearby Senso-Ji temple and enjoying a leisurely stroll around the area. The staff was super friendly and the property was impeccably clean, making our trip even better.

One downside was the thin walls. we could hear our neighbors. It wasn’t too disruptive for us, though.

Strongly recommend for exploring town

Exceptional service, marvelous room, with a private hot tub that made our stay truly memorable, and the breakfast was just too much but so fresh and delightful.

Breakfast here is pure magic—each morning I was treated to a feast that made my taste buds dance! The Japanese hospitality was top-notch, with staff that felt more like family. Staying in the Japanese-Style Twin Room with Open Air Bath was a dream come true, especially with that city view from the bath! Incredible vibes all around!

This isn't a huge downside, but Asakusa's a bit of a trek from central Tokyo, so plan your subway routes wisely. It might take an hour to get back, making those midday breaks tricky, but the charm of the area totally makes it worth it!

Ideal Stay for Families

This ryokan was something else. The private onsen was very nice , perfect for melting away the stress after a long day of exploring. And that breakfast? It was like a work of art brought right to my room each morning.

It costs a pretty penny , but that being said, the experience was worth it.

Despite the charm of the room, the location sits in a modern block, lacking that traditional ryokan feel. The walk from the train station can get chilly, particularly between seasons, so it's wise to bundle up.
